Library are indeed a blessing in the modern world.books, even in the age of cheap literature.cost money and there are many poor people who cannot afford even the price of the cheap edition.They can read and they can crave for knowledge, but they cannot satisfy their thirst because the cannot afford a book . It is for such people that library are more useful.
There is no doubt that libraries are a great blessing and when the book are wisely selected ,They have a great educational value, and have done much to encourage the habit of reading among the working classes. Of course , most of the books are novel and most of the people are novel-reader,but there is not much harm in this ,as the reading of sound fiction is not only a source of amusement and pleasure , but is also a mean of broadening one's mind and leaning more about life and human nature.
